Louis Vuitton Americas Cup – World Series Oman

Well what an event. The first event of 2016 for the Louis Vuitton Americas Cup World Series.

It was fantastic to catch up with so many friends both on and off the water and great to see the Land Rover BAR boys taking it to the wire but coming home with the event win.

To provide commentary / MC to a host of VIP’s that I was fortunate to be looking after through the relationship between Oman Sail clients and Partners Omantel was great fun and a lovely way to open peoples eyes to world of sailing.

Not only providing information about the race course, leaders, scoring etc, it was lovely to be able to delve deeper in to a bit of the history of the cup but also the transition many of the sailors have made from their junior days to now racing for the most iconic sailing award.

Well another event passes and so on to the next. I will be shortly headed back to exactly the same racecourse and marina for the 1st event of the 2016 Extreme Sailing Series in Oman. The only real change being the boats are a little smaller but with 5 x the number of races to be sailed. #exss
