Exe Sails Coaching Day

Exe Sails and Covers put on a coaching day for a few lucky sailors that were all about to local events but also and more importantly head to major championships in multiple classes.

A very light wind day really tested the sailors and got them to focus on the key fundamentals within boat handling elements and ensuring clear comms, timing amongst other things were nailed.

It was great for the sailors to see the immediate impact of the coaching as local Hornet Sailor and owner of Exe Sails Sam Woolner and his helm Dick Garry taking the open.

Best of luck to all the sailors who participated in the training with the rest of their 2016 seasons. A special thank you to Starcross YC for providing a cracking venue to coach from.
