What a start to an amazing year ahead for the Extreme Sailing Series with new boats and new venues.

Muscat delivered, with sunshine and mixture of breeze but wrapping it up on the last day with some stunning conditions pushing the teams and the boats to their max. Nail biting finishes, action packed racing, close calls and all on hydrofoils. As the teams wrestle these GC32 foiling catamarans around these tight courses neck and neck with 7 other teams it proved for a very exciting start to the season.

See the boats sailing in front of the old town and palace was spectacular with the stunning backdrop and to add to the stunning images from Mark Lloyd the drone footage really showed why this series is something special. Below is the link to the drone footage, which is definitely something you need to check out.

Muscat in Oman provided the teams a little bit of open water to get to grips with these boats but moving onto the next 3 acts, brings us into some of the tightest race courses of the series with Qingdao, Cardiff and Hamburg defining what stadium racing really is.

A stunning performance by Morgan Larson and his team on Oman Air. To come out on top on home waters made the win even more special but also set an early benchmark at the beginning of the series, but with 7 more Acts all with their unique characteristics it is anyone guess who will come out on top at the end of the year.
